Michael’s career spans over 25 years in enterprise IT architecture and platform engineering, marked by a visionary approach to complex IT challenges and an entrepreneurial spirit that fuels Bonelli Systems’ innovative solutions.
Michael’s strategic and technical acumen has been pivotal in designing security architectures that protect sensitive data, streamline operations, and enhance productivity for clients ranging from small law firms to multinational corporations. His work includes architecting robust VDI infrastructures, pioneering the deployment of Azure Virtual Desktop, and advancing secure, compliance-driven environments that drive value and efficiency.
At Bonelli Systems, Michael brings a wealth of technical proficiency across a range of domains, from advanced cybersecurity measures and automated compliance frameworks to cloud migration and unified endpoint management. His deep expertise includes building and optimizing solutions compliant with industry standards like NIST, CIS, HIPAA, and PCI, which consistently protect client systems from emergent threats and minimize operational risks.

Robert is the creator of our Familytics service and is the head of our legal engineering team tasked with streamlining our client firms into “Death Stars” as he puts it.
He began his engineering career at the age of 5 under his grandfather and great uncle at Cummings Electric in Wapato, Washington. He has consulted at all levels of business spanning STEM, manufacturing, healthcare, finance, government, and legal sectors. He’s managed IT on the high seas as a Lieutenant Communications/IT Officer of a cruise ship. He helped architect, build, and support Office 365 as an engineer at Microsoft along with Michael de Blok our company founder.
When Robert is not streamlining law firms and snooping out discovery violations you can find him with his family, in a book, working a tractor, running his Boston terrier, or debating the logical implications of the double-slit experiment.

Starting her journey at Bonelli Systems as a Customer Service Representative, Dominique quickly stood out for her exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. Her ability to create streamlined processes, manage administrative tasks, and foster a positive work environment led to her well-earned promotion to Office Manager.
In her current role, Dominique oversees office administration, coordinates internal workflows, and acts as the backbone of day-to-day operations. She takes pride in enhancing team productivity, optimizing office systems, and ensuring that employees and clients alike feel supported. Whether she’s handling HR tasks, organizing schedules, or improving internal communications, her goal is to create a seamless, efficient, and professional workplace.
